I have an issue and would like to have a plumber come over to my home and provide a price, what is your process?
When you contact Lakeside Plumbing’s office you will speak to one of our office team members. We will ask you about the issue that you are having in order to help assess the situation and determine the best option for your home. We will ask for the job address to confirm you are within our service area, the day and time you are looking to schedule and appointment and get detailed information on the situation you are looking to have repaired.
Do you offer same day service or emergency service?
Yes, Lakeside Plumbing offers same day service as well as after hours appointments. We are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Do you provide set prices for the service provided?
All of our work is completed on an hourly basis plus the cost of any material used to complete the task. We do offer set prices for specific bid jobs and also for other types of work that the office will be more than happy to discuss with you at the time of appointment scheduling.
Do you provide Free Estimates?
We do provide free estimates on large scale projects, remodel projects, and most work you are looking to have completed in your home. However, we do not provide free estimates on jobs where the technician needs to perform work in order to determine the issue. A cost will be associated if any work is completed. We encourage you to contact the office to discuss the type of work you are looking to complete and from there we an determine if a service call would apply or set up an estimate appointment.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept personal check, cash and most credit cards, excluding American Express.
Does Lakeside Plumbing work on appliances?
We do not work on appliances, whirlpool tubs or steam units. However, Lakeside will work any plumbing related issue you may be experiencing with an appliance, whirlpool tub or steamer unit. If the diagnosis is related to the operation of the appliance, such as no steam in the steamer unit when turned on, jets or motor not working properly in my tub or appliance is not working properly when in use, we would refer you to an appliance specialist that can address the issue.
What type of maintenance programs do you offer?
We offer several types of maintenance programs for our homeowners. We provide programs for main sewer rodding, backflow prevention certifications and sump pump/battery back-up systems. Lakeside takes pride to ensure that are customers are taken care and ensure that their homes are well maintained. We will service your home and from that point forward Lakeside will mail out on an annual basis a reminder postcard for your next check-up or inspection to be completed.
I am looking to replace the fixtures in my bathroom. Can you help me with picking out fixtures and ordering?
Yes, Lakeside provides and installs fixtures. We will work with the customer on specific makes and models of fixtures they are looking to replace to ensure they are selecting the best product for their home. By working with several supply houses we can provide competitive pricing and offer a warranty on the product. Lakeside will also provide service to your home if you decide to purchase fixtures. We would be more than happy to come out and complete the installation.
I received a letter from my village stating that I need to have my backflow device tested annually, is this a service you provide?
Yes, Lakeside has license backflow inspectors that can come to your home and complete the annual backflow testing on your lawn, fire, pool or domestic water devices. Our inspector will provide the testing/certification, leave a copy of the test results on the device for your records and submit the test results to your village. Lakeside will also send out an annual reminder for your next test date to be completed.
I have a sump pump and battery back-up system in my home and not sure if they are working properly?
Lakeside will send out a technician to test and provide a complete checkup on your sump pumps and battery back-up system. If your primary sump pump or battery backup need replacement or an upgrade, Lakeside will provide you with several options for sump pump replacement or back-up system upgrades based what is best for your home.
We are moving to a new home and would like to have the main sewer inspected, do you provide this service?
We work with several realtors in the area as well as homeowners in the process of purchasing and selling homes. Lakeside will come out and provide service to camera the main sewer line to determine the condition of the line and determine if any issues exist. If the technician comes across any concerns, he will provide an estimate for the repair work recommended. Lakeside will also provide you with a video link to view the inspection completed at your residence for your viewing and record keeping purposes.
