Our History

Lakeside Plumbing was founded by Thomas Robert Jones in the late 1980’s in Buffalo Grove, IL. Thomas found his niche in providing plumbing systems for custom homes in the North Shore and Northwest suburbs. Two of Thomas’s three sons, Chris and Tom learned plumbing from their father at a young age and went onto become state licensed plumbers.

Thomas Robert Jones died unexpectedly in 2004 leaving the business to his two sons, Chris and Tom to run. The third son, Shaun joined the business in late 2004 to run all internal operations for the company. Keith Harper, a long time employee of Lakeside Plumbing joined the family partnership in 2004 and handles various field projects within the company.

Today, Lakeside Plumbing Inc. has made leaps and bounds in offering additional services to its builders and clients including but not limited to:

• A full service/repair department offering 24 hour emergency
• The Lakeside Plumbing “Green Zone”, providing Environmental Green Options to customers and builders including Tankless Hot Water heaters and water conserving plumbing fixtures
• RPZ Backflow Preventer Testing
• Yearly Maintenance Programs
